About the program
The Law program at Universidad de Desarrollo Sustentable (UDS) educates professionals with a strong legal and ethical foundation, capable of interpreting and applying laws, leading mediation processes, and designing legal strategies in areas such as civil, criminal, labor, administrative, and international law. Graduates are prepared to excel as trial lawyers, legal advisors, judges, prosecutors, international law specialists, teachers, and researchers, contributing to social justice and the strengthening of the rule of law.
Objetivo de la carrera
Formar profesionales del Derecho con una sólida preparación académica, jurídica y ética, dotados de competencias para el análisis, la interpretación y la aplicación del ordenamiento jurídico, comprometidos con la defensa de los derechos fundamentales, el fortalecimiento del Estado de Derecho y la promoción de una sociedad justa, democrática y equitativa.
Perfil del egresado
- Interpret and apply legal rules ethically and professionally.
- Develop legal strategies in different areas of law, including civil, criminal, labor, and administrative law.
- Lead mediation and dispute resolution processes. Draft legal documents and serve as a legal advisor in public and private institutions.
- Manage legal projects that promote social justice and strengthen the rule of law.
