1997 - The Beginning: Fundación Génesis

Universidad de Desarrollo Sustentable (UDS) is a Christian university founded through the projects and sponsorship of Fundación Génesis, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting culture since 1997.

2002 - First Steps in Education

Fundación Génesis expands its mission and begins its educational activities, developing its first programs and building the experience that would later lead to our university.

2008 - Official Establishment of UDS

The Consejo de Universidades issues its favorable assessment through Resolution No. 36/06, and Universidad de Desarrollo Sustentable is officially established as a higher education institution under National Law No. 3,334/07.

2023 - Expansion and Leadership

We strengthen our position as a leader in sustainability with the opening of a modern Vice-Rector's Office housing our administrative offices, marking a new era of growth and institutional development. With state-of-the-art technology, we reaffirm our commitment to becoming the best university in Paraguay.
